Fermanagh Herald Family Business of the Year 2019

Surefire Wood are the winners of the Fermanagh Herald 2019 'Family Business of the Year' Award.

Fermanagh is famous for its strong family businesses, and we at Surefire Wood are delighted to win this prestigious Business Award.  Specialising in eco-friendly, kiln dried firewood for 30years, the business is headed by Sinclair and Sylvia Armstrong, employing 30 people including their 7 children.  The business has innovated and grew from a small livestock farm selling logs door to door, to one of the largest sustainable Firewood Producers in Europe.  The oldest of the next generation is only 9 years old but we are sure it won’t be long until they too are involved in continuing to grow our business into the future.
